After a short ferry crossing, we arrive at Malta's sister island of Gozo,legendary abode of Calypso, daughter of Atlas.We visit Gozo heritage to discover the many fascinating historical events and legends that have shaped the island of Gozo.The excursion continues with a visit to Ggantija Temples in Xaghra, the Citadel in Rabat, the Azure Window at Dwejra and the picturesque bay of Xlendi. In Gozo, we find local lace at its best. This island is also renowned for its knitwear. |

Our tour commences with a stop at the magnificent Blue Grotto where there will be the possibility of visiting the grottes closely at a minimum fee ( boat price not included in tour - weather permitting.) After we proceed to the fishing villages of Marsaxlokk and Birzebbuga. A lunch stop is included at Marsascala. In the afternoon, we visit Tarxien Temples and the cave of Ghar Dalam.

Tour to Malta's sister island of Gozo. After a twenty minute crossing, on setting foot in Gozo you will notice that although both islands are similar in history and development, Gozo has a character entirely of its own, which is a three hilled island, is greener and more picturesque than Malta.During the excursion we visit the Azure Window at Dwejra, the picturesque bay at Xlendi, Calypso's Cave and the Citadel in Victoria. At the Citadel Theatre we visit Gozo 360 Deg - a spectacular sound and vision experience that brings the Island to life. There will be free time for shopping. Gozo is renoweneed for its woolen goods and handmade lace.

along Gzira, Ta' Xbiex, Msida Marina, round the Valletta
bastions and Lower Baracca Gardens. |

A walk through this Medieval walled city situated in
the centre of the island included a visit to the cathedral
and the ramparts that command a magnificent view of
the island. The highlights of the excursion is the visit
of 'Tales of the Silent City' a spectacular audio visual
show housed in the newly restored Palazzo Gatto Murina
- a gem of the 14th. century Norman architecture - stroll
at your leisure through Malta's history and its former
capital - Mdina, the silent city.

view of the entrance to Grand Harbour and its fortifications. |
